Old town hall 2
Built in three stages between 1851-1868, by William Sear, to replace the Jacobean market hall and Courthouse. The building opened in May 1852 as the New Town Hall and Corn Market. The gates were made at the Cranstone Iron Foundry, which was situated further down the High Street at No 25.
